I'd have to wait another week to watch the new Captain America movie, but here in Mexico I get to watch Capitan America ahora mismo! I'll only spoil it for you in Spanish
staring off into space wondering where to go next
In the midst of a magical San Miguel de Allende evening, I think this mariachi band was serenading a taco stand
We need more spiral-staircases that go straight to the roof
wandering through tiny back alleys in San Miguel and discovering hidden courtyards and quiet churches
staring up at the Parroquía de San Miguel Arcangel, it's a nice departure from the typical spanish-colonial churches (of which there are still many in San Miguel de Allende)
Mexican folk toys at Museo del Juguete (toy museum) San Miguel de Allende
The city is brimming with artists, musicians, and wanderers, a charming mix of people (young and old, local and foreign) … but it's the calm musical tranquility that I like the most. There's a soft song to the city, birds and church bells echoing through tiny streets, the remnants of its colonial past treated as a canvas for modern expressions.
Hey it's San Miguel de Allende, beautifully relaxing place.
I'm not normally afraid of heights but climbing through the upper levels of the Vasconcelos library was wonderfully terrifying.
