Hong Kong

Hong Kong

My favorite parts of Hong Kong are the trees growing out of the sides of buildings, and importantly, it's no accident — much of the city uses masonry stone walls to prevent landslides, banyan trees are able to take root, which can further stabilize these walls and have become part of the cultural heritage of the city. Densely populated cities are no excuse for a lack of trees.
