I now have an apartment to decorate! So much potential here, I'm thinking Moroccan lounge as a design theme :) my favorite part is the kitchen on the small outdoor balcony, I'll have to go outside when I'm foolish enough to cook.
Simulated rain exhibit. In Taipei. They hand you an umbrella so you can experience being rained on… I don't even know what to say, cuz you know, it's literally raining outside, and it rains once per day here. Taiwan, y'all crazy and I love it!
Hey I'm in Taipei — jetlagged and delirious!
From Mexico I came to California, I'm in LA now about to drive to Arizona … I don't tell facebook to announce my birthday but let's just say today is a day I'm not going gentle into that good night. As Dylan said: Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Waiting out the rain at the museum today
the Spanish destroyed this Aztec temple in 1521, it was "discovered" in the 20th century and is now an archeological site. There's a strange and wonderful irony that todays Spanish-speaking inhabitants demolished parts of their own colonial city in order to excavate these ruins. Considering what was there before, the sparse remains are quite sad to walk through (e.g., stripped of gold, silver, and anything that would have been valuable to the Spanish)
México es un lugar loco bonito
Crazy street art? I must be back in Mexico City!
you ever go to gem store and then a minute later you're crawling down into a mine shaft? Besides the suffocating claustrophobia and imagining a slow death as the earth collapses on you, other than that, it felt totally safe
